The Team

Quetzal Currie L.M.

Quetzal is a licensed midwife and the founding director of the TRIBECA WORKSHOP. She has been working with expectant and new mothers for over 10 years, first as a Midwife at the Miami Maternity Center and later in New York City, as a labor/Postpartum doula and parenting educator. Quetzal was born and raised in New York City and has lived in Tribeca since 2001.

Meredith Fein Lichtenberg, CCE

Meredith is the Vice President of the Childbirth Education Association of Metro New York.  She is a certified childbirth educator and postpartum doula, and founder of A Mother Is Born, Pregnancy and Postpartum Services.  A former employment lawyer and nonfiction writer, her focus is women's changing identities in the childbirth years.

Kerri Pedersen, P.N.P.

Kerri has been with tribeca pediatrics since December 2000, she has 14 years experience as a neonatal and pediatric nurse, and has been a board-certified nurse practitioner for over 10 years. She graduated from stony brook university, with a master’s degree in child health. Prior to joining tribeca pediatrics, Kerri was a pediatric nurse practitioner at south Hampton pediatric associates on long island.

Nancey Rosensweig, CNM, LCCE

Nancey Rosensweig, CNM, LCCE, is a Midwife, Doula, and Childbirth Educator.  Her previous career as professional modern dancer, teacher, and bodywork therapist has influenced her present philosophy of care for women in pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period.  Nancey's education includes a BA from Brown University, an MFA from University of Michigan, and a graduate midwifery degree form Columbia University.
She does well-woman gynecology at the Ryan-Nena Community Health Center, and teaches preparation for childbirth at Ryan-Nena, Roosevelt Hospital and NYC Parenting Center.
